How Grid Trading Works
A grid bot divides a price range into evenly spaced levels (the "grid"). It places buy orders at each level below the current price and sell orders above. As the price bounces between levels, the bot captures small profits on each trade.
Visual Grid Creator
The grid creator provides a visual interface for setting up bots:
- Candlestick Chart — See price action and overlay your grid range
- Draggable Price Lines — Set upper and lower bounds by dragging on the chart
- Market Sidebar — Search and select trading pairs with real-time prices

Grid Modes

Configuration Options
Spacing
- Arithmetic — Equal price distance between grid levels (e.g., every $100)
- Geometric — Equal percentage distance between levels (e.g., every 1%)
DCA Sizing
- Uniform — Same order size at every grid level
- Weighted — Larger orders at more favorable prices (dollar-cost averaging effect)
Risk Management
- Stop Loss — Automatically close the bot if price drops below a threshold
- Take Profit — Close the bot and take profits at a target price
- Trailing Stop — Dynamic stop loss that follows the price upward
Advanced Settings
- Leverage — Configurable from 1x to 125x (exchange dependent)
- Autocompound — Automatically reinvest profits into the grid
- Grid Lines — Set the number of grid levels (more lines = more trades, smaller profits per trade)
Bot Management
Once launched, manage your bots from the Grid Bots dashboard:
