Cross-Chain Transfers

Step-by-step guide to bridging tokens between supported chains.

This guide walks you through transferring tokens between different blockchains using Arjia's deBridge integration.

Prerequisites

  • A connected wallet on the source chain
  • Tokens to bridge and native tokens for gas fees on the source chain
  • A wallet address on the destination chain

Step 1: Open the Bridge

Navigate to Bridge from the sidebar. The bridge interface shows source and destination chain selectors.

Step 2: Select Chains

  1. Source Chain — Select the chain where your tokens currently are (e.g., Ethereum)
  2. Destination Chain — Select the chain where you want to receive tokens (e.g., Arbitrum)

Step 3: Select Token and Amount

  1. Choose the token you want to bridge (e.g., USDC)
  2. Enter the amount to transfer
  3. The system shows the estimated amount you'll receive on the destination chain, accounting for fees and slippage

Step 4: Review the Quote

Before confirming, review:

  • You Send — Token and amount on the source chain
  • You Receive — Estimated token and amount on the destination chain
  • Bridge Fee — Protocol fee (typically 0.04%)
  • Gas Fee — Transaction costs on both chains
  • Estimated Time — How long the transfer will take (usually 1-5 minutes)
  • Exchange Rate — The conversion rate being applied

Step 5: Confirm and Execute

  1. Click Bridge to initiate the transfer
  2. Approve the token spend in your wallet (if required)
  3. Confirm the bridge transaction in your wallet
  4. Wait for the transaction to be confirmed on the source chain

Step 6: Track Your Transfer

  1. After confirmation, you'll see the transfer status in the Bridge History section
  2. Track the progress:
    • Pending — Transaction submitted on source chain
    • Confirming — Waiting for source chain confirmations
    • Bridging — deBridge validators processing the cross-chain transfer
    • Completed — Tokens delivered to destination chain
  3. You'll receive a notification when the transfer completes

Common Routes

Popular bridging routes with typical times:

RouteTypical TimeFee Estimate
Ethereum → Arbitrum1-2 minutes~$2-5
Ethereum → Solana2-5 minutes~$5-15
BSC → Polygon1-3 minutes~$1-3
Arbitrum → Base1-2 minutes~$0.50-2
Solana → Ethereum2-5 minutes~$5-15

Tips

  • Bridge during low-congestion periods for lower gas fees
  • Always ensure you have enough native tokens on the source chain for gas
  • Start with a small test transfer before bridging large amounts
  • Check that you have the destination token's wallet set up before bridging
